OUR STORY

Hi! I’m Jill, and sewing is my jam. I have a dog named Jacq, and we’re the dynamic duo behind “Jacq & Jill". I began sewing for myself before I could even follow patterns. I guess you could call my work a “chop-sew-try on” process making anything from skirts to swimsuits. My workshop started in my bedroom about 20 years ago, and now I’m working on sharing my designs with YOU!

The story of Jacq & Jill began with dog walks on cold days. Canadians know our winters are cold, and cute but warm pants can be hard to come by. Bring on the “Janie” wool pant. Inspired by pup-lovin’ Jane Kuzik, and designed by Jill, a family mash-up to keep your booties toasty on our coldest days. Jacq the golden keeps us on our toes, ensuring no winter adventure is missed!
